This pouch is open no lid, mag is secure with pressure from the reinforce Cordura with PVC, which adds some stiffness. Specifically cut at the right height. Inside the pouch a special pressure foam that has been built inside the material to retain mag from falling out during hard activity. It also provides quick reloads. You will find them better than any Kydex mag pouches. Excellent pouch for Competition, tactical purposes and conceal carry. Pouch has a Mil. Type secure clip. Pouch is 3.25" tall.
